It's sessions time: InDesign

My first assigned Monday session was the InDesign one. The aims of the sessions are to introduce us with Adobe InDesign and show the basic techinques of working with type.

First of all, we were introduced with the brief, which is pretty straightforward: within two sessions we need to typographically set a manifesto (over 50 words) of our choice.

• A1 size

• B&W

• Type only

I'm really thrilled about the project as I never made a poster using only typography, although I was a little upset that we had to use the exsiting manifesto and not to create our own. I've never used InDesign before, but I'm familiar with Adobe Illustrator, which seems quite similar, so I don't think there will be any techinal problems.

The main task for now is to choose a manifesto - it should be the right size, but more importantly it should be exciting as the project is quite long and I don't want to end up with doing something that I don't care about. Thus, it's all about making the right choice now.
